Has anyone heard of this company that makes a pour-in transom replacent material?? "SeaCast Co." check out their web site and testiomonials. I wonder if it would work in whaler's (foam compatible??)

I think this remains a bit of a question mark. We may learn quite a bit from Bob Kemmler and his Rage conversion. There is a recent discussion of the Seacast product in that thread: http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002354.html

If you call Seacast, they will send you a sample of their product. I held a 1/2 thick piece in my hand that Bob has and I could not even begin to flex it. Bob has all of the info of this stuff.

David i spoke to the creator of this product and he assured me it will not melt away the foam in a whaler,he did say if you plan on using it on a whaler,make sure the foam is DRY.I also did a little testing on this product myself and found out it is quite bouyant.Im definately going to use this product in my conversion.Ill keep everyone updated as i go.
