I picked up a used 13' Super Sport last fall. The bow eye has been pulled about 1/8" away from the exterior hull. When looking at the internal eye, there seems to be no way to tighten/draw-in the hardware. I fear that a minimal amount of water from spray may find it's way into the hull. Any suggestions?

I do some boat repairs and think that every structural problem that I've repaired stems from some sort of thru hull fitting. I wouldn't take a chance. Remove the old hardware, tape one side of the holes then fill with epoxy. When that has kicked drill new holes and install hardware.
