I have the original Whaler manual for my '92 15 GLS and it has the wiring diagrams for 13 thru 17 Whalers. Anyone interested I can email it to them. |

jstachowiak, Like many others I too am re-wiring a Montauk. If the diagram you have is appropriate for a 1884 Montauk I would appreciate a copy very much. You have made a great offer. Thank you in advance. |

Jstachowiak, many thanks for the diagram. I agree that the two bus bar method is, by far, the cleanest method of segregating the circuts. I haven't decided whether a fuse block or a circut breaker panel would be best. I lean tword the panel as fuses are sometimes not available when you need them, but, it's easier to match fuse capacity to the required circut loading, Decisions,decisions. Just as a side note, the previous owner of my Montauk had removed the main circut breaker from its proper use and had wired it as a horn button. Honest he did, I think I'll change that.
