tbirdsey	posted 05-22-2002 08:20 AM ET (US)         Hope to install jackplate this weekend on the 72 Outrage; just need to lift the 150 Evinrude off the transom (minor detail). Anybody in upstate NY (Albany) area have a lifting eye they're not using this weekend?? or another way to accomplish the task?
Steve Leone	posted 05-22-2002 03:19 PM ET (US)             use a 24in length of welded anchor chain. aquire three hardened or stainless bolts and fat and wide washers. screw the bolts through the washers and chain link and into the flywheel. do this with all three. leave enough slack to get the hook from the hoist onto the chain. steve out.
