HELLO OUT THERE! IN GENERAL, HOW ARE THESE MOTORS IN TERMS OF BUYING A FAIRLY RELIABLE CHEAP USED OUTBOARD IN THE 70-90 HP RANGE? IS IT WORTH TINKERING WITH THIS STUFF?

My 75` 85 h.p. Johnson is still running strong, but those V4`s sure do love to eat fuel!! Jack.

My 1968 Evinrude 25 still runs strong...planes out my 13 with two people and gear within an acceptable time...not super fast but reliable as well.
