Was having trouble with 1995 merc 75hp cutting off while idling. Could pump bulb and would run fine. Replaced all fuel line and squeeze bulb and now it collaspes the bulb while running. The air vent tube is unobstructed. I even opened the gas cap while running and the bulb stills stays collasped. What could the problem be.

Could be a clogged pick up tube in the tank. depending on the tank, they usually have a screen at the bottom of the tube, at the bottom of the tank.
