DaveS	posted 06-08-2002 10:04 PM ET (US)         I'm thinking about placing some rod holders underneath the storage areas in my Newtauk. There seems to be enough room to tuck a few rods there, has anyone tried this...and if so, how did it work out? Thanks for the help. DaveS
jstachowiak	posted 06-10-2002 09:06 AM ET (US)             I purchased verticle rod holders for my Newport from Bass Pro Shops in the store, not the catalog. I found mine at the Houston, Kaileen, store. I forget the name but they worked great. They are modular in that you buy the aluminum tracks, then the holders. Three to a pack to store three rods. The rod holder part fits in the track and locks with allen screws. I cut the tracks to fit. The problem is getting something to fit in that space, about 10 inches.
