'87 Whaler 27 with v birth cabin. Front hatch (2) supports are missing. Fairly stought, heavy hatch lid. No idea what was used there before. Can I use heavier duty springs or adjustable arm? Any idea what size, brand, supplier source? Thanks

Similar problem with smaller front hatch. One support brace (missing) for glass/aluminum hatch.

Adjustable arms are used for the tinted clear cabin top hatch. Look close at the hatch it should have a brand name. It should also be set up to accept a screen insert. BW used a couple of suppliers for these over the years.

If for some reason you can't find the id of hatch check with BW customer service they maybe able to point you to a source. You can also request a manual if the boat didn't have one. CS usually is accommodating in sending out a Xerox copy.

Now for the what I am guessing is the anchor locker hatch your describing, they used the heavy duty fold down spring style supports.
