Topic:   Has anyone built a box around the RPS for storage

posted 07-01-2002 01:47 PM ET (US)         I was toying with the idea of building Starboard box around my reversible Pilot seat for storage. I have already raised the RPS about 3 inches. The box I was thinking about would be about 15 inches high on three sides and encompass the RPS. The Front side facing the center console would be about 3 inches high. Right now, I use a 54 quart cooler underneath for storage. It is a pain to unbungie, pull out, open then store it back away. I think if I could enclose the RPS, the storage would be much easier to use (and bigger). Has anyone done a project like this? Is it a good idea? Thanks, Carl
