Finally got back to Martha's Vineyard over the 4th and got to play with my 1986 13' SuperSport and found a couple of trouble spots. The boat was full of leaves and when I cleaned it out, I found the drain plug on the anchor locker was plugged. I rooted around with a plastic stick and unclogged the blockage. However, it seems that the passage is not sealed and that the water leaks into the foam? Is there supposed to be a brass drain tube in there, or was it formed into the gelcoat? Although it seems to drain propoerly now, what can I do to prevent further damage to the foam?

No tube there. Just gel coat or whatever. Fill with some epoxy and the drill out if you think water is getting in there.

I assume you are talking about the bow locker, if not this maybe a solution for your situation. Get a flexible tube (vinyl or other material) of the correct outside diameter from the hardware store. Thread it through the opening and cut flush while bedding with 3m 4200.
I covered the exposed part on my 13’ sport with a small clam shell vent.
