For the real experienced folks who tackle outboard repairs, which of these series of manuals is generally better? Even better, which is better for Suzuki?

I am a pretty decent and relatively fearless mechanic, and would like a book that gives me what I need to work on my OB do do bassic maintenance (including changing the impeller etc) and more if the time ever comes.

I am wary of Seloc since from what I can find online, it is Chilton's which generally is one of the worst manuals for cars/trucks.

Buying advice?

Howdy, JDH.

In the examples I have, the Clymers are superior in paper, print quality and binding. The Selocs seem to offer more detail.

Go for a manufacturers manual if you can get one. I got mine on Ebay.

The following source offers a Suzuki manual by Chilton's. They seem to have a large source of manuals and they may be able to offer you some other publisher.
