Check OEM section for CMI. Whats wrong with the jointed rails?

I don't believe CMI makes the one piece welded rails, first used in 1989. I have Outrages with both types, and I think the 7/8" CMI rails are higher quality, as long as you can live with tightening screws occasionally. The one piece 1" welded rail I have is lower quality, and gets surface rust under the bases, which stain the glass. Could simply be that in 1989 BW used a fabricator who used poor quality stainless.

If you want to make the conversion, I think you will have to take the boat to an SS rail fabricator, where they can duplicate the existing one, including the stantion bases to fit the old holes. Only other possiblity is if BW will tell you who made these rails, and that they still have the patterns.
