Next question: Now that I got the boss (a.k.a. my wife) to agree to a kicker, I'm wondering about a bow motor for shallow weedy fishing...

Does anyone have any experience mounting a bow motor to a Montauk, re. interference with bow railings, etc.? I currently have a 90hp and a 9.9hp (both four-stroke Hondas) so the trim puts the bow out of the water quite a bit.

Size of battery? Pounds of thrust? Shaft length? Where to mount? (Yikes! this sounds like a porno!). These are questions that come up every time I start looking at these suckers. Thanks. Justin

Open up the subject line for the past two years and browse, there is lots of good information on this subject.

I'll send you some pics of my set up.

Check the e-mail address you have in your profile. The e-mail I sent with the pictures was kicked back.
