I have a 88 Outrage that has been always garaged on a trailer. It had one coat of gelcoat from Whaler/Dealer which I have removed with Peel Away which worked very well after a few tricks were learned. However there is a "line"between the lower bottom painted area vs the upper always showing area. I was hoping that there would not be a difference because of it being a stored boat and not exposed to sun. However there is. What is the answer? Buffing the upper? I have never buffed it before and have always tried to avoid buffing. Any answers would be appreciated

Sorry about the mistake. It is not a coat of gelcoat, it was a single coat of bottom paint |

Buffing it is. If fortunate, it will work. If not, repaint. |
