At a well-know dealere, I ordered a new anode for my '85 Yam 70: cost: $11.00. Asked about the 2 graphics decals for the sides of the hood of the Yamaha (mine are pretty faded) Price? $156.00 ! I wouldn't pay that for a new engine hood ! What's up with that?

Sounds pretty much in line with other pricing. I just paid $120 each for two sets of Evinrude decals for my 89 120s

Not cheap but you can also use a vinyl graphics shop. Neat way to upgrade your old engine to 2003 decals though.

Graphics shop? How would they do it? That's gotta be a better way than paying $150+ ! On the other hand, I may have a guy interested in the motor - so I can re-power and get nice new graphics.....
