I am looking for replacement plexiglass for my 17-Newport center console windshield (please refer to Ceteca page 3, photo 5 for reference). I contacted my Whaler dealer and they said they no longer carry them. Anyone know of a supplier or manufacturer for this. This is very critical since without the windshield my chilled malted beverages have no protection from blowdown and spillage (unnecesary operating expense).

Search for 77" Newport Windshield around July 29th, 2002. I broke my Newport windshield (not the console) too. They cost about $250 through Twin City Marine. I used epoxy to glue my windshield back together temporarily. I doesn't look too bad. What year Newport do you have?

Center console Or orig Newport side console?

I have a Newport with a 30-inch wide center console that needed a new windshield. If you're not set on original parts, you can make your own. I used clear 1/4" plexi. I like the better visibility of clear over tinted. I made a template out of cardboard and traced it out on the plexi. I purchased the plexi from Home Depot for 23.00. It had a thick plastic film covering both sides that protected the plexi from scratching as I cut it out (jigsaw) block sanded the edge. The film peeled right off. I then used a propane torch to bend the plexi sides. For 23 bucks I gave it a shot and was very happy with the results.

It is a 1982 model that is currently stripped. It is the original side console, not a true center console. Would anyone happen to have a phone number for Twin City Marine? Thanks

Should be in the OEM section. If nothing there do a search for 6 months or so and you will find it. Also try Twincitiesmarine.com or something in that area. Boston Whaler website will also have it.

Actually go to the reference section and look up rubrail. They list their number and contact.

If you are really just looking for a source for "replacement plexiglass", there are many suppliers.

If you want a prefabricated replacement part, contact a Whaler dealer and check for old stock.

The NEWPORT model has two windshields, one at the console and one at the bow. Be sure to clarify which one you need.
