RE: Exact measurement for Decal placement:
Would someone with an original 1960's 13' whaler (preferably original faded decal for exact factory decal location) please take some measurements for me ?
1) From the bottom of the rubrail to the top of the decal =
2) From the end of the transom edge to the left bottom edge of the decal =

thanks very much.

My 13' is a 1963 with original decals. My rub rail is temporarily off, so I measured from the highest edge on the side, which may be approx. 3/8 above the lower edge of a rub rail. In other words, I slapped a ruler against the side, and it would tuck behind your rub rails lower leading edge.
1) 2 7/8" from under gunnel to top of "B" on decal.
2) 10 7/8" on Starboard side, but 11 5/8" on Port side, from the end of the transom to the REAR bottom edge of the decal. Don't know why the variance from one side to the other on my hull.?
