I have just seen so many people get a boat for free or dirt cheap and then it costs them $1500 to transport it to a yard, sits in a yard...blah blah blah. They find out it is gonna cost them twice as much as buying already together, etc and they scrap it. The free boat cost them $4000.

I had a chance to get a 34 silverton with twin 350's that were OK. Boat was rough but all there and in a slip for about $2500. I turned it down because I did not want a edsel in my yard if you know what I mean.

This 35 ft Wheeler has 2 good v8's, a good hull but I can see will need transom work. I think I'll buy the Brooklyn Bridge instead.

I'll go halvsies on the bridge. At what they charge in tolls.....we'll be rich in a month.
