I am about to restore a bare hull 1968 13', so I have nothing to go by.

How is the front seat secured on the 13' sport ? The back seat looks like it "floats" under the seat risers on each side.

Is the front seat just held under the edge of the front risers and is it supposed to be removeable ? Or is it secured with hardware into the hull ?

thanks,
Dave

just sits there. The little spring loaded "wheels" on the side pieces hold it in place.....kind of.

Dave,
I have had what Bigshot says along with 2 Stainless wood screws into the gunnel lip.
Regards, Jay
P.S. You may want to look in the reference section to see if there is wood under that lip.
