I want to refinish the trim and doors on my outrage19 console. Whats the best way to do that.

Sand until the parts look like brand new wood. Apply 2-3 coats of a good teak oil like Amazon.

If you can unscrew and take the trim off the boat, and drag it inside with you over the winter you will find it much easier to sand and refinish. On balance I found that I saved time by taking it off.

Try a product called Cetol. it is maintenance free. i will never use teak oil again! take a look in the somewhere in the cetacea where there are pics of a boat that used cetol....joe
