I need a copy of the wiring diagrams for a 1988 Johnson 225 hp outboard. I have the generic shop manual but it does not give the detail that I need for what I am trying to trace down. Does anybody have this? Thanks, Ray |

Hi Ray- I have the wiring diagrams for my 1992 Evinrude 225 - loop charged 90 degree V6 - do you or does anyone else know if these are the same? If they are the same I'll scan them in and shoot them off to you- John |

Further to the above: I went out and got my service manual and it is for both Evinrude and Johnson loop charged 90 degree V6 motors. The specific Johnson 225s referenced are: J225TLEN; J225TXEN; J225CXEN; J225PLEN and J225PXEN. I'm assuming your motor falls under one of these spec #s and am in the process of scanning the diagram.
