I have an 86 18OR and need to pull up the floor for various repairs, feul line, wiring, check for damage to backing, etc. I attempted to remove the T-Top, but found that the epoxy)or whatever was used to seal screws, has caused a bond to the floor. With all screws removed the top won't budge.

I read in the West Systems repair manual that heat might be the way to go. Any suggestions on how to apply heat without damage.

I have to remove this top to get to floor and don't want to simply use force to break the seal. Too afraid of damaging floor.

Thanks for the contact. He told me to use a heat gun and a putty scraper to complete the task.

I put a little heat on it the tapped the scraper under it to break the seal. Worked like a champ. FYI...make sure you have at least one screw in the base before freeing the final post. Even on a level surface the T-Top wants to fall backwards.

Thanks for the help.
