I've got a 1991 Montauk that I'd like to put a functional swim platform and ladder assembly on. The standard one- step Boston Whaler platform looks a little small and difficult to use. I need a little more room to haul in the dogs and some more steps to haul in myself. I've seen some custom teak platforms on older boats, but haven't been able to come up with a manufacturer. Does anyone have any great ideas for alternate solutions?

You can put a three step Windline on the standard
whaler step. See:

I've never seen a Montauk with a bigger platform.
There just isn't room. And remember that a
bigger platform will put your weight farther
from the hull and increase the loading on the
platform mounting.

Thanks Triblet. Great looking Montauk. Enjoyed the site.
