I have a 13' super-sport with a 40HP Johnson on it.

It is very difficult to tilt up, and I think the tilt support cylinder may be shot. Any ideas on where I can find a new one on the net?

I have tried to post this topic on "iboats", but for some reason, I can't post any messages on that site. I tried to register there, but it won't let me. ARGGGHHH!

To replace you need to remove the engine I think. If it freezes, you in trouble and have to drill it out. Have it fixed but it may also be the tilt tube(where the steering cable is) that is tight. My guess is the steering/tilt tube.
