do in inquiry on "stress crack repair" and you will have plenty of reading material. Question is whether or not you have "stress cracks" or more towards the cosmetic "spider cracks"
true stress cracks by definition are going to be in direct correlation to some sort of mounted hardware ( motor to transom, console to deck, rails to bowsides, etc..)spider cracks are more associated with weather and weight wear with age.

They are single line type cracks, located, most of the time, in the radii between a horizontal and vertical surface. Would that be considered a stress crack or spider crack?

I would consider those more of a age crack from the gel-coat shrinking over time. I have seen them in a few Whalers and in my Montauk that I restored, (1972). To fix they need to be sanded out and painted or re-gelcoated over.

If they are real stress cracks then they are likely in the glass and that will need to be sanded and glassed over/re-inforced. If they are small and hard to feel it is probably just the gel-coat.
