The cushion covers of the Igloo, the leaning post and the backseat need to be renewed. Where can I obtain the original material so I can have them copied. Thanks Albert Dal.

Try Hallsnautical.com. They can definitely sell you a new cooler cushion, and maybe the material for your other items. |

I went to a local auto/boat upholstery shop and they had almost identical material available through one of their vendors. They rebuilt and recovered the factory pads and did a superb - arguably better than new - job. (There are several quality levels in upholstery foam, for example. You can upgrade to the better quality during the rebuild) While they were at it they covered some additional items for me. (note: those heat-stamped vinyl materials can vary somewhat by lot number and the manufacturer may make small design adjustments as well. If you're thinking about getting another cooler or adding other upolstery it would be a good idea to buy the extra material from the same lot number and store it until you're ready to do the job.) My cost on a new, thicker, better-looking, cooler seat was about the same as the skinny one that didn't match from West Marine. |
