Has anyone plated the componets on there bow rails? Mine are in rough shape and im either going to replace them or have them plated if i can find a place to do it! Any input?

There's a place in Fall River Mass that does plating. I've seen their work at car shows(old bumpers etc brought back from the dead) and was going to use them to re nickel plate 20+ kitchen stove parts this past summer but I found a place in Vermont to do it(closer to me) These places are used to customers with odd shaped valuable parts and take particular care in prep work(what you're really paying for when plating stuff) and security(you don't want a small piece lost) The guy in Rutland also insisted that I send him the screws that hold the parts on the stove so they could be replated. he said the total looks are important with plating.

The bow rails are stainless. The tees can be had for as little as $6.00 each. The side stays can be purchased aftermarkey but I am not sure of the price. Plating tends to be expensive. I do not know where you can get the bases unless you go through BW. Steve
