KyRick	posted 01-12-2003 09:20 AM ET (US)         Has anyone ever changed the color of the stripes and logo on the side of a Whaler? I would like to change from the Red to the Blue on a 16 Dauntless. Any idea how expensive the oe stripes are?
nugie	posted 01-12-2003 11:17 PM ET (US)             I recently had my stripes and logos redone on my Rage 15. I was able to get a custom color by going through a local reputable sign shop. They took digital pictures of my factory stripes and happened to have the "Whaler" logo in a book of pre-designed logos. The designer re-created the factory stripes on his computer using the pictures for scale. I picked out a nice teal blue to match the accents on my seat cushions and they special ordered a marine-grade vinyl from a supplier. I also had a name put on the back of the boat. All the design, materials and installation cost me $350. I thought pretty reasonable and it looks great. I'll try to link some pictures if I can figure out how.

I may try to do the same here, I am not sure if they will have the Whaler logo or they might be able to scan and make...who knows. please send me a picture if you can on the completed project. see ya Rick
