I'm going to have the powerhead on my 1989 Evinrude XP 200 rebuilt this spring. I'm considering having it done by a company called Blackbird <http://1outboard.com/index.html>. I've read good things in other forums about this company's work. Anyone here have any experience or info about the company? Thanks in advance. |

Fitz. Blackbird (Co?) is just North of Pittsburgh in a place called Butler. I bought a rebuid from him and was satisfied. Mostly b/c of the price. At the time I bought a rebuilt powerhead installed on the boat with existing lower unit for $1500. I did have a problem and he fixed it w/o question quickly. Only one experience but was pleased.
