labdog1	posted 01-27-2003 12:09 PM ET (US)         Before I polish and wax the Montauk I want to replace the stripping on each side (under gunwale). My boat is a 1991 model Anniversary Montauk with the 4" wide green strip. I wish to stay with the green in keeping with the rest of the color scheme but reduce the size from 4" to about a 1" width. Can any of you tell me the width of your stripe and what looks the best? I will be buying stripping and BW logo from Magic Brush in Florida.
