mjcrawford	posted 02-07-2003 04:33 PM ET (US)         I need to replace the steering on my 1967 Easport. Any advice? NFB, Safe-T QuickConnect, Back-Mount Rack. What are advantages of each? Disadvantages? Thanks for the advice.
15to17	posted 02-07-2003 04:50 PM ET (US)             Just replaced the steering on my 16'7" Montauk (w/ 90 hp Johnson 2-stroke) with the Teleflex Safe-T Quick Connect. Disassembly/removal of old system took longer than installation of the new system--I highly recommend the Safe-T QC.
rsess1	posted 02-07-2003 05:36 PM ET (US)             Get the no feedback teleflex. Works amazing. No more torque steer. I can drive my 115hp Nauset with no hands at moderate speeds.

rsess1	posted 02-09-2003 10:10 AM ET (US)             Sorry but I don't know what my cable length is and the boat is in winter storage in Ontario. It has been posted many times on this board what the length is. Use the search engine. (I don't know how to use that either)
