Are there any books out there about restoring fiberglass boats, or better yet, just about Boston Whalers or restoring them? F14

I do not know if there are any books devoted exclusively to the restoration of Boston Whalers but this site is better than an entire set of encyclopaedia's.

Tom Clark's article on repairing the Whaler way is full of information that can be used on any fiberglas boat. I would start there and search through all of the archives Jimh has placed here for our use.

And the really neat thing about is it is free!

Have fun.

Purchase a copy of the WEST SYTEMS book, Repair and Maintenance of Fiberglass Boats.

It costs $3 and has a wealth of information. It is available at most locations that sell WEST SYTEMS products.

I did get the Fiberglass Boat Repair Manual (25$). It did not really supply any new critical information but it does have enough damage pictures to put any project you are considering into perspective and make you feel good about owning a BW.
