Greetings all. I am looking to replace the circuit breaker in my '86 Montauk. It is a push button breaker (marked 30 amps) that is housed in a small desert tan plastic box attached to the inside of the port side near the stern. Anyone changed this? Where did you secure replacement? (Usual catalog sources, etc. do not seem to carry breaker similar to original.)Thanks, Nick.

Last year I replaced circuit breakers (50A and 30A)I think are similar to the one you describe on my Outrage 22. I don't recall the mfr. name off-hand, but it seems it was a German firm, and as I tried to track a replacement down, I concluded they were a very high end product with breakers designed for marine and aeronautical installations. Long story short, what I wound up having to do and what I think you will have to do, is order them through a Whaler Dealer. Expect to pay between two and three times what you think they ought to cost, though.
