How do I repair small spider cracks on the inside of my whaler? Most of them are in the rear. Can i paint over them?, and what do i use?.

use site serch engine for Spider cracks. If in the deck you probably have some minor delamination causing the deck to bend thus crack. If you can depress in on your deck more than 1/2 inch than you can squirt epoxy into the void and correct the soft spots first. If not than whatever surface you apply like a paint will just recrack. I am in the process of doing my floor in a truck bedliner material.

First, try searching thru the archives in one of two ways:

For the last 365 days of forum topics:
http://continuouswave.com/cgi-bin/forumdisplay.cgi?action=topics&forum=Classic+Whaler%3A+Repairs%2FMods&number=3&DaysPrune=365&SUBMIT=Go

For the site search engine:

One method to repair the spider cracks is take a can opener (little triangular head on it)and groove the cracks, then clean with acetone, then repair with spectrum gel coat paste.
