Author	Topic:   Tilt/Trim Problem
TQT Whaler	posted 04-02-2003 06:49 PM ET (US)         Have twin outboards on an Outrage. Today I fully trimmed /lifted both engines to do some cleaning. When I was finished, I tried to lower both but only one went down. I still have power to the other trim motor because I can trim up, but not down. Any ideas?
jstachowiak	posted 04-02-2003 07:48 PM ET (US)             Could be switch or relay. On OMC's the relay is under the cowling under plastic cover. Upper relay is for up and lower one is for down. About 1" black cube that unplugs. About $28 each. You can switch them around and if the motor goes down and not up,then it is relay. Good luck.
