Left my fish finder on and killed my battery. I tried to use the battery from my Yamaha 25 Four Stroke on my F75. I got a spark and smoke from the battery and smoke from under the cowling. The motor started but I turned it off. Havent touched it since. What did I do?

I wonder if you reversed the polarity on the battery you used to either start of jump the other battery. There is another thread in the last couple of days that also sounds like your problem. Good luck.

This about the third thread this spring involving people who have connected their battery with the polarity reversed and produced smoke from under the cowling of their outboard motors.

I can emphasize how important it is not to do something like this to your outboard.

Read the other thread for a more detailed analysis of that has probably happened.
