First time owner... 3rd day out on my 16'Whaler, dual console, 90HS YAMAHA
I think as I was loading the boat on the trailer, I bumped into the guiding rails. NOticed some small hairline cracks on the middle of the port side... What should I do?
I do notice a ring of discoloration (very faint) that circles these cracks....

please help, new to boating....

Strongly suspect you have absolutely nothing to worry about other than the first ding on your new boat.

Take a look at

to see what real damage looks like and how to fix it.

Doubt the cracks are from PVC guiding pipes but also would not worry about them.

Thank You for the info!
I did check out this link: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/whalerRepair.html
really helps, and makes my 3-4" hairline cracks look small. I just don't want them to start runnin or leakin... so it sounds like the same thing as a surfboard repair!

This is a great forum, why do I have a funny feelin I'll be back? Thanks Dr. T & Big shot...
