When pulling up my 68 Nauset console, it seemed to me that there was no epoxy, glues or anytthing holding the mounting plates down to the floor. Should I just use the screws or Glue too?

From my experience, Whaler never used any adhesive in mounting mahogany blocks/cleats to the boat floors.

Thanks! I agree with the no adhesives - it's just amazing to me the thrashing this boat takes. The Great Lake, large people holing onto the windshield and it keeps on ticking.
