Am having a hard time finding the proper set screws for the forward lower joint on the center console ss rail.Are these coarse thread or special screws of some kind?

They're just normal s/s machine screws that should have nylon-insert lock nuts inside. Remove one of the remaining screws and take it to the hardware store to get a match. Add a s/s fender washer inside for a little more security. Watch the length of the example screw and make sure it matches what the missing one passed through. Take note accordingly, as a portion of the console up front has imbedded 1/2" wood for strength.
