I have recently purchased a 1988 13 ft that I am in the middle of completely restoring. I have a new replacement rub rail that I got from my local dealer. When installing the rail, does it stop where the sides meet the transom or continue around to the engine. I have seen it both ways. Which way was it when the boat was new? Thanks |

The black part continues around the corner onto transom a few inches and then is fastened with a screw and a finish washer. There is a really good picture in http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/rubRail.html |
