1979 15' with bench seat and right mounted steering console. Have disassembled woodwork for second time in its life, desire to modify for more comfort while retaining same steering and side mounted controls. Desire plans or suggestions to add pedistal seating front and rear and raise console and seating for pilot. With increased age, Mom and I are seeking comfort without spending a fortune, but still want to be able to ski the grandkids in a few years and catch a bass or blue.

Hi, CWayne.

The 15' Striper model offered front and rear pedestal seating, as well as a higher console and cushioned helm seat.

The front pedestal mounted to the forward locker bulkhead. The rear seat mounted to a raised rear deck. The helm seat was a cooler. Igloo I think.

Pictures of a Striper 15 might give you some ideas.

Red sky at night. . .
