my Whaler gauge reads between 25%-50% full, yet my yamaha gauge has not moved (still reading full)....these are brand new digital gauges too...

New, I think the lack of replies here might be for several reasons....Is the "Whaler guage" the float type in the hull with the lexan window? (very unreliable) and what is the "Yamaha guage"? Oops I just reread your post about both being digital.....what kind of sensors do they use? Dave

Considering these are both new gauges you may need to calibrated them. Mercury gauges require a process of filling the tank to 1/4, 1/2 and full to calibrated the gauges. I think there is a short cut to calibrate if the tank is full, not sure.
