Boat: 1981 20' Outrage

Question: Where does the "green" ground wire for the internal tank attach to the fiil/nozzle area?

The eye on the end of the ground wire must have been corroded because when I removed the panel (that covers the hoses) the wire came with it.

I have looked all over the area, under the gunwale, near the fill area and there is no indicator. I am wondering if it ever was attached!

Thanks in advance!

With an eye terminal on the wire, it attaches to the underside of one of the three machine screws that hold the fill fitting in place.
