Where can I find a T-Top for a 1987 18 foot Outrage? Has anyone modified their boat with this addition? |

I am in the making my own t-top, it will be done in a month, I will post some pictures when it is done. If you have any questions just ask. I inquired about getting one made from one of those shops, but I couldn't justify the cost for what I was getting. I am using 1 1/4 SS tubing, 6' 1/2 tall, the top will be 5'x7'. Dave |

I have one that I would be willing to part with. It was removed from my recently aquired 1986 OR18. It has an electronics box mounted at top. The only issue is that the actual fabric covering top needs to be replaced(something easily done I'm sure). Let me know if you are interested. As soon as I get my digital camera I was planning on posting on the marketplace board. Ray |

Please keep us all informed about the progress....I am looking into buying/fabricating a top as well. Ray, What do you want for your top? I am in South Texas so it could be difficult for me to get it here... How did the boat handle with the top? Did it feel "tippy"? |

I put a welded alum. top on my '87 OR18 a year ago. No tippiness noticed ... added curtains and they are really JB |

I had an aluminum T-top installed last summer. It was constructed by a guy named Jason, with Offshore Marine, from Canton, Ga. It detaches, so that I can get my 87 Outrage into the gargage. It is not tippy, will trailer at speed limit driving, provides great shade, and looks great. It makes the boat somewhat heavier. It makes fishing alot easier than the old bimini. |

How high is the top--"standing room"? How much are you looking for for it? |

I will post the height measurements, but I know it is plenty high for me to walk under with no fear of hitting it and I'm about 6' tall. I am looking for $1200, and user pays for transportation costs.
