Hi guys, i own a 1970 21 Otrage and have just restored it fully! I love it. The other day I was walking around a marina and saw the three rod holder rack, with the canvas cushion mounted in the front. I can't find it anywhere! Any suggestions?

Try http://davesup.com:6400/xmlshell.asp?doc=1

From what I understand, they are one of Whalers OEM producers. Theres a couple others but I can't find them at this moment.

You can also use a quality aftermarket rod-rack as a start and have a competent upholsterer make the pads to your specifications. In my experience, that is substantially less expensive than going the OEM route.

21Whaler,

You could make your own Teak Rod Holders and then purchase the cushions from either Dave's Upholstery or Hall's Nautical.

The Drawings for the Teak Rod Holders are located in the OEM section under OEM and other Whaler Drawings....

That's great!

I wanted them for my 1973 21 footer also.

Thanks for asking that question 21Whaler.

FYI....the cushions are about $65 EACH. You can also install the cushions without the rodholders, which I will do. Reason being when 6 rods are in front of you it impairs your vision(or is that beer?) and if a hook comes loose(they always do) I do not want it that close to my eyes.
