jmarlo	posted 07-18-2003 01:03 PM ET (US)         Anyone installed a permanent swim step/grab rail, etc. on a 13' Classic? I'm tired of fiddling with the rope steps, portable ladders, etc. I'd like to install something permanent, solid, and that has good finish. Any pictures of your similar project would be greatly appreciated.
Bigshot	posted 07-18-2003 01:47 PM ET (US)             Would not do it. If you get air and that swim platform lands first it could either rip out of the transom or throw the boat in a direction you are not anticipating. I removed mine from my Newport for the above reasons.
