Been refurbishing my 88 Whaler 27 and ran into some cracked gel coat. I removed all the decals and strips and was not planning on putting them back on but found some pretty bad cracking (crazing) beneath the stripe that goes under the windshield. Grinding that area down and re gel coating will be involved and too costly. I guess my other options would be to use some filler then sand it smooth and then replace the stripe over the top of the repair. I also thought about doing that stripe in LP? What do you guys suggest?
