Greetings all purveyors of good taste:

i recently stopped to look at a detailer who provides Rhino Liners for truck beds and marine applications. I liked the material which seemed to be a sealor as well. The guy said that you can also have certain colors concocted for an additional amount.
Has anyone tried this for an old worn whaler interior gelcoat? It seems tempting but I'd like to hear some opinions...

Big bmp.
Anyone use the spray liners? Thinking of trying in an
early 60s 13'. Boat is very rough but I plan on striping it down when cold weather hits.

I did my 17' interior with a product called Durabak. You can paint, roll or brush it on with very good results. I recommend you use a product with the non-slip rubber bb's in it. There web site is

I just had my interior redone by painting over the enire interior hull than splatter coating the floor. I had them use the exact gelcoat they used on the hull. The splatter coat is black. It looks great and the splatter coating works like a no slip surface. I had to do this because all of the interior was severly burned.

Wayneman, Look at the thread (current posting) entitled "A new type of keel guard." It sounds as though these people have done what you are asking...

Hey Wayneman, I sent you an e-mail of pictures of my 11' Whaler with Rhino lining. If anyone else would like to see the pictures, let me know.

Hey C.P. Thank you for your pictures. What you did looks great. I wish my whole worn out interior looked like that.
