I have a 1962 13'. I noticed, during the restoration process, there are screws about every 1.5" in a groove all the way around the decking. Is this factory? The blue gel coat is covering the screws so I assume it is.

I assume you are talking about the rub rail? If not there were no screws installed by Whaler anywhere else. And they didn't use screws for the rub rail...the previous owner may have installed a aftermarket rubral with track. If your talking of somewere else on the boat please give more detail.

There are no screws in the floor at all. Those markings are in the inner glass mold. No screws under them.
