I have a helm that was ment to be mounted the under side of a horisantle serfice. It resembles the big-t helm depicted in the boat cat's. I can't find any reasorces on old whaler helms. Is any one here hip to any? etf |

I or someone else on the forum may be able to help you if we had a little more information. What model and year is the boat? A browse through a good old Webster's wouldn't hurt before hitting the send key. Correct spelling would help understanding your post. Dick |

telecaster, Your e-mail address indicates your location to be University of Oregon. Is the spelling meant to pull our collective leg? If not, please finish college:-) Bob on Tampa Bay |

telecaster I didn't expect you to find a diagram of the steering system in Webster's, that is better found at www.tfxmarine.com If you had read and comprehended my post you would have realized that I was directing you to Webster's to correct your terrible spelling. Dick |

Ok this has become ridiculous; I will respond to that accusation in the META form thread Why is it such a hang up? Thank you to all of those who have emailed diagrams and parts sources for Big –T helm. I’m not going to drag this on so if any one has more info please mail it to efuller@gladstone.uoregon.edu. |

We's got a really stupid kid nephew that we all has been worried how t'get him into a college. Too dumn t' get into LSU or Southern. No way. Looks like mebbe there's hope afterall. If this feller, Eric Fuller, got into U. of Oregon, why, it looks like mebbe a Labrador Retriever could get into college up there. |

Eric, don't stop now; all these comments are funnier than the comics and I look forward to the new ones. I guess it doesn't take much to amuse me-- |

After reading some on the META forum, I retract my previous remarks--it looks to be out-of hand and inappropiate for this forum. |

Telecaster, Welcome to the forum. Pay no attention to the perfect people...there are plenty of us regular fellas on this forum! You see, there used to be a forum member here who took the brunt of the bad spelling critisizm. Then, he changed screen names and started using a spell checker. Ever since, the perfectionists have been looking for a punching bag. Pay no attention, it will pass. Good luck with your helm! |
